A motorcyclist has been seriously injured in a crash on Highway 290. The accident occurred early this morning on Highway 290 near Binford Road.
Officials with the Harris County Sherriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division stated that the crash occurred on the westbound lanes of Highway 290, and that the motorcyclist was severely injured. He was Life Flighted to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
The outbound lanes surrounding the crash site were closed off as investigators worked to clear the scene. Police are still investigating the accident to determine the cause and if any other driver were involved.
